ABOUT HOMEILY
Our company consists in the creation of an application named “Homeily”, which has the mission of distributing in a fair and straightforward way the housework between the members of a family. In such wise, we want to ensure that equality is promoted in the performance and distribution of all tasks in a fun and original way. On top of that, our app aims to motivate and entertain the participants while unifying and intensifying family ties.
Easy Steps:
Joint us and create a family group.
Select from a list which household tasks should be done at home.
A roulette will assign the roles for each family member in order to distribute the household
As soon as a family member completes a chore, he or she must log into the app to indicate that the task has been completed (there is also the option of taking a photo of the finished labor so that the rest of the participants can see how the final outcome of the labor).
Each family member, after the completion of their tasks, will receive a score in relation to the work done.

Two main objectives
First of all, we should start by acknowledging our two main objectives. One of them is to encourage a better use of ICTs so that they serve as a way of inclusion rather than a means of disconnection within a family. Our other main goal is to fight against gender inequality since unfortunately, the figure of women as housewives is an undervalued, standardized and even ignored problem by a large part of society.
As soon as we realized that nowadays there are many cases where women are still attributed the image of "housewives", we decided to focus on this much underestimated problem. With our product, we try to remove all the burden from women in regards to household chores by providing an easy and fun way to distribute them among the members of a family.
MANAGEMENT AND CEO
We are four students from Oak House School (BCN, Spain).
Although there is a director for practical purposes, the whole group has been working together and participating in all the decisions, prioritizing seeking unanimous decisions in order to progress in a fair way. Taking into account that we are students and we do not charge, we have three tools that have been used to maintain the group motivation and teamwork: The recognition of work, future expectations (to create the physical version) and finally, a good working deal. In the face of a problem or an unforeseen event, we consider that we are a very resolute team, open to any kind of unexpected event such as the one we are all currently experiencing with the Coronavirus. However, our weekly meetings have continued to be enjoyable and functional, we have dedicated hours of work and have detailed every situation.
